- Process optimisation tools for Power-to-X: ENTRAS has modelled a pilot plant for methanol production. Optimisation of the plant is based on arbitration between different markets: the electricity market, markets for CO2 and hydrogen and the methanol market. Our optimisation algorithms integrate multiple market arbitration with technical boundary conditions of the industrial process. Developing these complex simulation models is a core capability of ENTRAS.
- The dispatch tool for a biogas production plant is a real-time arbitration between electricity import and biogas production. Even for such a plant, extra revenues can be secured by optimising the power and gas production process. The dispatch tool is designed to be rolled out on small installations.
